Dog Euthanasia

No one is ever ready for the death of a pet. Whether it is unexpected or it comes at the end of a slow decline, we are never fully aware of what a pet has brought to our lives until our companion is gone.

Requesting euthanasia of a pet is possibly the most difficult decision a pet owner has to make. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you or your family needs help through such a difficult time.

What is pet euthanasia, and how do I know when it’s the right time?

Euthanasia is the termination of your pet’s life to relieve them from any pain or suffering. When contemplating euthanasia, you will want to consider the quality of life your pet has. An appointment with one of our doctors to discuss your pet’s needs is always available upon request.

Can I say goodbye to my pet in the comfort of our home?

House calls are not usually a service that we provide here. However, certain situations require a vet to visit your home. We can provide you with the number of a mobile veterinarian who is available for house calls. Please call our clinic for more information.

Does your hospital provide bereavement counselling?

We offer bereavement packages to take home with you. The packages offer many support and counselling services.
