Practice Manager – Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT)

After graduating with honors from the Animal Health Technology program at Red River College in 2006, Kellie worked as a veterinary nurse in emergency medicine for 8 years. She is currently studying accounting and with her industry knowledge of veterinary medicine, has found the two different areas of study work well together to fill the practice manager position. She has a black lab cross named Raven and a white very mischievous cat named Aldys.

Andrea joined the Corydon Animal Hospital in 2004. She graduated with Honours from the Animal Health Technology program at Red River College in 1999 and has a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Manitoba. Andrea is actively involved in the animal health profession, sitting on the Manitoba Animal Health Technologists Association (MAHTA) Board of Directors since 2001 and on the Red River College’s Animal Health Technology program Advisory Committee. She is passionate about helping our hospital maintain the highest standards and looks forward to coming to work every day. Along with her husband, Andrea takes care of two young boys, three cats, and a Great Pyrenees. Her interests involve relaxing on the beach, playing soccer, and dance classes.

Katie joined the team at the Corydon Animal Hospital in 2012 as a veterinary assistant while she attended school to become an Animal Health Technologist. She graduated in June 2013 and now works as one of our skilled technologists. She really enjoys helping the vets with tough cases by taking x-rays and running blood work. At home she has a Border Collie-Basset Hound cross named Capone and a big grey cat named Eddie.

Michelle joined the Corydon Animal Hospital team in May 2013 after graduating from the Animal Health Technology program at Red River College. She enjoys all aspects of her job, especially doing dental cleanings and taking x-rays.

Kahlia first joined the team as a veterinary assistant in 2012 while she was attending school to become an Animal Health Technologist. She graduated from Red River in June 2014 with honours and rejoined our team in June 2015. She loves the opportunity to help nurse patients back to health so they can return home to their loving families. While she is not at work she enjoys taking care of her many family pets; two dogs Luke and Sam, three cats Sheva, Peaches and Zorro, and her lovely rabbit Dakota.



Veterinary Assistant

Thea is currently a student at the University of Manitoba where she has successfully completed her pre-veterinary requirements and continues to work towards a BSc. with a major in Biology. She hopes to become accepted into the DVM program at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon and fulfill her dreams of becoming a Veterinarian. She has volunteered with Corydon Animal Hospital for several years, however in the spring of 2015 she started working with us up front. Thea has a passion for animals and it makes her day to see our team help ill pets get back on their paws. At home she has a golden retriever, Sophie (“Snowphie”), as well three cats, Stella, Penny and Mr. Biggelsworth that she loves spending time with. She is very active and always on the go between school, volunteering and working two jobs, however does manage to find time to do the things she loves. Thea loves all outdoor activities including running, x-country skiing and hiking as well as taking photographs of nature, scrap booking and traveling.



Veterinary Office Assistant

Danielle joined the Corydon Animal Hospital team in June 2015 after graduating from the Veterinary Office Assistant program at Robertson College. When not at work you can find her loving and caring from her two cats Mimi and Pikachu. Her favorite hobby is making jewelry.



Veterinary Assistant

Amber joined the team as a part-time veterinary assistant in October 2015 while studying pre-vet at the University of Manitoba. She has had previous involvement in the veterinary field though volunteer work for numerous years. She has a dog Scout, a cat Ketchup, and a pony Candy.



Veterinary Assistant/Inventory Manager

Jennifer has been with the Corydon team since 2002. Her versatile skills allow her to help the veterinarians and Animal Health Technologists with animal handling and the receptionists with client services. She is also in charge of inventory and food orders. In short, she helps the whole practice run smoothly. She loves big dogs, especially her Bull Mastiff “Abby” but she can also be seen cuddling with cats and has a great appreciation for all animals.



Head Receptionist/Veterinary Office Assistant

Cecily graduated the Veterinary Office Assistant program at Robertson College in 2012. Working in the veterinary field since then, she came to work at the Corydon Animal Hospital in September of 2014. When not at work she spends a great portion of her time loving and caring for her dog Oscar, and two cats Aldys and Dimmu.



Veterinary Assistant

Alex is 19 years old and has been working in the veterinary field since she was 17 years old. She loves working with animals. Yes her dog is pink and has bling but what better way to show her off!



Veterinary Office Assistant

Carly started at Corydon Animal Hospital after graduating from the Veterinary Office Assistant program at Robertson College in March 2016. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, camping and drawing. She has 2 cats at home named Ophelia and Loki.
